Lorena is a 45yo domestic helper.
She is blessed with 1 daughter aged 17yo who she took care of when she was newborn baby.
With years of hands-on experience both in childcare and household management, Lorena is motivated to continue working overseas to provide a better future for her family.
She is now looking forward to working in Singapore, where she hopes to earn a more stable and higher income to support her daughter's college education.
Lorena is hardworking, responsible, and committed to helping her family achieve a better life through her dedication and perseverance.
April 2002 to Apr 2007 (5yrs) Singapore: Lorena worked for a Chinese family of 4 with 2 daughters aged 4yo and 1yo.
The family lived in a condo with 3 bedrooms, where Lorena worked alongside another Filipino helper.
Her primary responsibility was childcare, which included preparing milk, feeding, changing diapers and clothes, showering, and looking after both children.
Lorena assisted with teaching homework and regularly accompanied the children to the playground.
In addition to childcare, she shared responsibilities for general household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, car washing, cooking, and marketing.
Lorena completed and renewed her contract twice with the same employer, reflecting her reliability and strong performance.
However, her last contract was not completed as the employer no longer required two helpers.
Lorena also wished to return to the Philippines at that time to spend time with her family.
Jun 2009 to Jun 2013 (4yrs) Philippines: Lorena worked for a Filipino family of 3 with 1 daughter aged 5yo.
The family lived in a bungalow house with3 bedrooms, and Lorena was the only helper in the household.
Her main responsibility was childcare, which included preparing the child's school bag and uniform, assisting with homework, and spending quality time playing and engaging with her.
In addition to childcare, Lorena took care of general household chores such as cleaning, laundry, car washing, gardening, and cooking Filipino food.
She completed her contract successfully, but her employment was not renewed as the family no longer required a helper due to the madam losing her job.
During this time, she was involved in the processing and packaging of various food products, including hotdogs and nuggets.
Her responsibilities included maintaining hygiene standards, following food safety procedures, handling equipment safely, and ensuring quality control in all stages of production.
Lorena demonstrated discipline, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Her years of factory work reflect her strong work ethic and adaptability in handling physically demanding tasks.
Lorena looks forward to work in Singapore again to earn money to support her family.
