Mellicent Joy worked in a 3-storey house with 5-bedrooms, 5-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 6 with a 2- and 7-year-old, and she looked after their welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding.

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in UAE.

2 years 1 month (Oct 2023 – Nov 2025) as a helper in United Arab Emirates.

Mellicent Joy worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 4 with a 12-, 13- and 15-year-old ( 2 teens have autism), and she assisted to look after their welfare, together with a co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Returns home, looks after her family welfare and seek new job opportunities.


Cooking

She cooks Filipino and Arabic dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes.



Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepared their meals, assisted to bathe, dressed and get them ready for school, watched over their playing and safety, attended to and assisted in their needs.



Elderly Care

She is keen to look after the elderly.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour.
