As the eldest child in her family, Jane has always carried a strong sense of responsibility and has consistently helped support her loved ones. Jane is currently working as a barcode scanner at Shopee Logistics. Because of this, she is looking forward to working in Singapore to earn more money to support her family.
Oct 2017 to Dec 2024 (7yrs & 2months) Saudi Arabia: Jane was working in Saudi Arabia for an Arabic family of 9 with 7 children (between newborn to teenager), Jane took care of the last 2 children since they were newborn. The family stayed in a condo with 5 bedrooms. There were 3 housemaids in total, and Jane was solely responsible for caring for the sixth and seventh children since their birth.
Her duties included preparing their food, bathing and feeding them, getting their school uniforms and bags ready, and bringing them to school. In addition to childcare, she also handled various household chores such as washing, cleaning, laundry, ironing, marketing, and cooking. Jane successfully completed her contract with the family.
During our face-to-face interview in Manila, Jane shared that she is able to cook very well such like Adobo, Chop Suey, Kebab, and Biryani. She enjoys spending her free time cooking and listening to music, which reflects her warm and creative personality. She is now ready to work abroad again to earn more money for their future. Jane describes herself as flexible, patient, friendly, a fast learner, and respectful qualities that make her well-suited for working in a household environment.
