Marina is a 43yo Filipino domestic helper.
She is blessed with 3 children aged 22yo (girl), 21yo (boy) and 14yo(girl) who she took care of when they were newborn babies.
Mar 2017 to Apr 2019 (2 years & 1 months) Qatar: Marina was working in Qatar for a Qatari family of 5 with 3 children aged 13yo (girl), 10yo (boy) and8yo(girl).
The family stayed in 3-storey house with 5 bedrooms and employed 3 housemaids.
Marina was solely responsible for taking care of the 8yo girl.
Herduties included preparing food, preparing her school bag and uniform and sent her to school.
In addition to childcare, Marina also managed the householdchores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
Marina successfully completed her contract with the family looking opportunity in other country.
Sep 2019 to Dec 2021 (2 years & 3 months) Singapore: Marina was working in Singapore for a Chinese family of 3 with 2 children aged 12yo and 8yo, bothare boy.
The family stayed in HDB with 3 bedrooms, and she was the only housemaid.
Marina was solely responsible for taking care of the children 12yo and8yo.
Her duties included preparing food, preparing uniform and sent them to school.
In addition to childcare, Marina also managed the household chores such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing.
She is able to cook Chinese dishes such as Chicken soup, Bak Kut Teh, pork ribs, fried rice, porridge, steam fish, steam egg and more.
She finished her contract and transferred to another family.
Dec 2021 to Aug 2022 (8months) Singapore: Marina was working in Singapore for a Chinese family with 1 elderly woman aged 72yo.
They stayed in a HDB with 3 bedrooms.
Marina was the only housemaid in the household and was primarily responsible for looking after Ah Ma, providing support and care in her daily routine.
In addition to elderly care, Marina also managed general household duties, including cleaning, washing, and cooking.
However, she was unable to complete her contract because Ah Ma was often away in Malaysia and had asked Marina to clean her son's house instead, which made Marina feel uncomfortable as it was outside of her agreed duties.
During our face-to-face interview in Manila , Marina shared that she is able to cook simple Chinese dishes and is willing to learn more.
She mentioned that inher free time, she enjoys improving her cooking skills.
Marina describes herself as a trustworthy, patient, and eager-to-learnindividual.
