She has worked for five employers in Singapore, gaining broad experience in elderly care, disabled care, childcare, and household management. She is able to understand and speak simple English, which allows her to follow instructions and communicate with employers.

 

In her disabled care experience, Gustinah cared for a Ma’am with a brain tumor during hospitalization. She assisted fully in all activities of daily living, including daily hygiene care, cleaning the body with a damp cloth, and providing thorough support after toileting and urination. She managed urine care using a bed pan, ensured cleanliness, and maintained comfort and dignity.  

 

Her elderly care experience includes supporting three elderly individuals with short hands-on duties such as walking assistance, ensuring safety during showering, preparing clothes and drinks, and giving medication reminders. She also cared for a 90+ year-old Ah Mah, assisting with all daily living activities, monitoring blood pressure, administering medication, preparing meals, and accompanying her for medical checkups.  

 

She has managed household duties across two terrace houses and three HDB flats. Her responsibilities included sweeping, mopping, laundry, ironing, gardening, and washing cars. She maintained a safe and comfortable environment for elderly employers, consistently keeping homes neat, organized, and hygienic.

 

In cooking, Gustinah is able to prepare simple Chinese and Indonesian dishes suitable for children and adults. For elderly employers, she adjusts food textures and taste, preparing meals with less salt, less oil, and less sugar. She considers medical conditions when cooking, ensuring meals are safe, nutritious, and appropriate for their health needs.  

 

Gustinah is now ready to be transferred to a matched employer. She is motivated to continue working in Singapore, bringing her skills and experience to support families with dedication and reliability.
