Malay Family of 5: sir, ma’am, 2 adult children & 92-year-old disabled Ah Mah (stroke & dementia).
Daily support included showering, feeding, medication, monitoring blood pressure, safe lifting & transferring, mobility assistance, and exercise therapy. She accompanied Ah Mah at night due to dementia-related sleeplessness. She also managed household chores: cleaning HDB 3BR/2T, cooking, and housekeeping. Her main focus was housework and cooking, while assisting in safe lifting & transferring of ah mah. During free pockets of time, she supported the other helper in caring for ah mah. Ah gong frequently relied on her for light assistance, including preparing meals and helping with change of clothes. On weekends, when their son's family visited, she cared for the twin grandsons by cooking their favorite meals and accompanied them to the playground. She also prepared meals for the whole family. Household duties included cleaning HDB 3BR/2T, housekeeping, and marketing. She cooked for weekend family gatherings and festive celebrations, preparing large feasts for extended family and friends. She is skilled in Chinese, Indonesian, Malay, and Peranakan dishes, showcasing versatility and cultural adaptability. Her specialties include ngoh hiong, sweet & sour dishes, various prawn dishes, steamed chicken, stir‑fried vegetables, curries, fried noodles, fried seafood rice, curry fish head, braised pork, braised duck, poh piah, and traditional Chinese New Year feasts. She is also adept at Peranakan classics such as buah keluak, babi pongteh, and hae bee hiam.

She is ready to be transferred as she wishes to experience a different family culture. Alongside her caregiving skills, she is a skilled and versatile cook who can adapt her dishes to suit the preferences and health needs of her future employer’s household.
