Charmaine is a Filipino domestic helper with experience in the Middle East. She worked in the United Arab Emirates from Aug 2017 to Feb 2018, providing household and childcare support for a family living in a three-bedroom condo. Her responsibilities included general house cleaning, laundry, ironing, grocery shopping, and meal planning as requested. For childcare, Charmaine ensured the children, aged 10 and 4, were well cared for by preparing their lunchboxes and snacks, organizing their uniforms, sending them to the school bus, waiting for their return in the afternoon, feeding them, and tutoring with their homework.
In addition to her household and childcare duties, she also does car washing. Charmaine would also cook Arabic dishes like mulukiyah, paratha, and curry which she later leaned.
