Her main duties include cooking, grocery shopping, running errands, cleaning, laundry, ironing, meal planning, and tending to the plants. She has learned to cook based on recipes passed to her by her employer or by searching on her own. She can prepare dishes such as roast chicken with salad, baked salmon with honey mustard, chicken curry, fried fish with sauce, stir fry vegetables, beehoon, beef with broccoli, pasta bolognese, adobo, and various desserts like leche flan and banana cake. The family will no longer require full-time help, so she is available to start work by mid-November.
- June 2021 to Sept 2022 Location: Philippines Position: Domestic Helper Jackelyn worked for a Chinese family with 2 boys aged 3 and 8 years old. The family initially lived with the employer\s parents in a 3-storey house with a total of 10 persons and a small dog. Her duties included laundry, preparing ingredients for cooking, and assisting the Amah in cooking 4 dishes for dinner. After the family moved to a new apartment, her responsibilities expanded to childcare, such as bathing the youngest child and playing with the kids.
