Mary Joy worked in a flat with 2-bedrooms, a toilet, living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 5 with a 2-year-old, and she looked after her welfare. Daily, she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook simple dishes, laundry, ironing and folding. In all these, she learned to manage her work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking
She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Hongkong, she prepared and cooked basic Chinese dishes, such as steam fish etc.

She had her non-domestic work experience as a housekeeping attendant from 2020 -2022 and 2016 to 2018 both for pogo worker’s accommodation.
Currently, she is taking care of her children and doing household chores while waiting for her application in Singapore. She managed patient care for a diabetic male elder with lower extremity complications, including amputated toes and non- healing wound. She also provided support with elderly care, including companionship and assistance with daily activities and also managed household chores.
