Irene worked in a 6-storey house with 7-bedrooms, 5-toilets, 2-living room and 2-kitchen for a family of 9, together with a co-helper. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, assist employer with marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car.

Returned home, looked after her family welfare and applied to work in Kuwait.
2 years 3 months (Apr 2022 – Jul 2024) as a helper in Kuwait
Irene worked in a 2-storey house with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 5 with a 1-, 12- and 16-year-old, and she looked after their welfare. Daily, she cleans and tidy the house, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, tend to garden and plant watering, wash and clean the family car. In all these, she managed the work well. For her future employment, she hopes to learn and adapt to new culture and experiences.

Cooking
She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In Kuwait, she prepared and cooked basic Arabic dishes, such as magloba, chicken biryani etc.
Childcare
She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In Kuwait, she prepared her milk and meals, washed and sterilized feeding bottles, bathed and changed with fresh clothing and diapers, watched over their playing and safety, accompanied them for doctor’s appointments, sang lullabies and soothed them to sleep, administered their vitamins and medications, dressed and get them ready for school, attended to and assisted in her needs.
Pet Care
She is keen to look after pets.
Hand phone
She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.
Off-day
The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.
2 years contract
She is aware of the 2-year contract.
