Background
DEWI 42, divorced with a 26-, 23-, 18- and 11-year-old twin, and the youngest child in the family of 2 siblings. She wants to work in Singapore to support and save up for her family.
Academic Qualifications
She graduated from high school, equivalent to Spore’s Sec School.
Experience
4 years (2019 - 2023) as a helper in Indonesia
She worked in a 6-bedroom house with 5 toilets for a family of 5, where she looked after her madam’s welfare. She did the cleaning, marketing, cooking, and laundry, and helped take care of 2 dogs, feeding them and maintaining their areas, together with a co-helper.
Cooking
She cooks Indonesian dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes as well.
Childcare
She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her children welfare.
Elderly Care
She is keen to look after the elderly. In her local experience, she prepared meals and fed the elderly woman, assisted her with bathing and dressing in fresh clothing and diapers, gave her medicine, and accompanied her to medical check-ups.
Pet Care
She is not afraid of dogs and is comfortable taking care of them.
Handphone
She will follow the employer\s instruction regarding handphone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own handphone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.
Off-day
The helper is entitled to weekly off-day or at least 1 off-day per month and the other 3 working off-days, she will be compensated accordingly. Any other off-day arrangement is between employer and helper, this will be stated in the Job Offer.
2 years contract
She is aware of the 2 years contract.
Recommendation
In summary, DEWI is mature and ready to take on new challenge. Being a first timer in Singapore, it may not be easy for her to understand employer’s needs, however, we believe with enough time, proper guidance and training, she will be a good help in your family.
