The family lives a simple but dignified life, grounded in love and shared values.

Roxanne is the only daughter among five siblings and is the fourth child in the family.

Her academic journey began in her hometown where she completed her secondary education at Nicaan High School in 2005.

In 2016, she began her professional caregiving journey at a local Nursing Home, where she worked until 2017. Her experience there sparked a deep sense of purpose and a commitment to providing quality care to the elderly and those in need.

Eager to seek better opportunities for her family, Roxanne took her skills overseas and worked as a domestic helper in Singapore, gaining extensive experience over a span of nearly seven years:

Sept 2018 – Aug 2020: Roxanne served a Singaporean family in a 5-bedroom landed property, looking after an elderly couple (ages 75 and 73) and managing the entire household. Her work included cleaning, laundry, cooking, and assisting the elderly with their daily needs.

Aug 2020 – Aug 2022: She then worked for a Singaporean-Taiwanese family in a 4-bedroom condominium, caring for a 3-year-old child while handling household chores and cooking duties.

Sept 2022 – June 2025: Her most recent employment was with a Swedish family living in a 3-bedroom condominium.

Roxanne is well-versed in general household work such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, dishwashing, and grocery shopping. She is knowledgeable in preparing Filipino and Chinese dishes and is eager to expand her culinary skills to include a variety of international cuisines. Her natural patience, attentiveness, and warmth make her a trusted caregiver in every home she has served.

Currently, Roxanne is back in the Philippines, dedicating her time to her children as she waits for her next employment opportunity in Singapore.

Growing up in a close-knit family taught her early the importance of hard work, respect, and service to others. Wanting to pursue a path of caring for others, she enrolled in a vocational course in Healthcare Services, which she completed in 2008. Her education gave her both the practical knowledge and confidence to begin a career in domestic work and caregiving.

PHILIPPINES ( 2008 -2010) she began working as a domestic helper for a Filipino family, where she cared for a 3-month-old baby while managing all household tasks in a 3-bedroom home. For two years, she took charge of cleaning, laundry, cooking, and childcare—performing each duty with care and reliability.

In Mar - May 2013, she briefly worked as a private caregiver to a 92-year-old bedridden woman who required special medical attention, including NGT feeding. Working long shifts, Mary Grace handled suctioning, medication, vital signs monitoring, grooming, and meal preparation—all while maintaining a clean and safe environment for the elderly patient.

Since 2013, Mary Grace has focused on raising her children full-time, but she continues to apply her skills daily—caring for her children, managing household responsibilities, and maintaining a stable and loving home. She is confident in her ability to care for children and the elderly, and she is preparing to take the TESDA-accredited Domestic Work NC II training in Manila, which covers essential household management competencies.

Mary Grace now looks forward to returning to work, bringing with her not only years of experience but a deep sense of commitment, warmth, and dedication to the families she will serve.
