Gerlie completed her secondary education at Dampol 1st National High School in 2002. Then she took up a degree in Information Technology but did not finish because of financial difficulty.

Margie completed her secondary education at San Antonio National High School in 2001. SAUDI ARABIA (August 2022 - August 2025), she was again hired by an Arab family. She worked in a household with a couple and 3 children 11, 4 and 8 month old infant. Her duties remained consistent: cleaning, cooking support, and full-time childcare. Her employers trusted her not only for her work ethic but also for the care and attention she gave to the children. She is confident in her abilities, particularly in infant care, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and organized home. She can cook a variety of Filipino dishes and has also learned to prepare simple Arabic meals. Margie is eager to expand her skills, especially in cooking, and is comfortable following recipes to learn new cuisines.

Now back in the Philippines, Margie continues to work hard to support her family. She currently helps her husband by selling vegetables, home-cooked food, and ready-to-wear (RTW) clothing in their local community. Flordelyn has several years of solid experience in household work in the Philippines, working for Filipino families in different home settings as follows:

PHILIPPINES (2012 to 2016), where she served in a two-bedroom bungalow household consisting of a Filipino couple and their adult child. She was the sole helper, handling all household chores and caring for the family’s pet dog.

PHILIPPINES (2017 to 2019) , she worked for an elderly Filipino couple, both mobile, in a one-bedroom home. She was responsible for cleaning, cooking, and daily household maintenance. This experience taught her patience and attentiveness in elderly care.

PHILIPPINES(2021 to 2023) She worked in a four-bedroom, two-storey house with a Filipino family, a couple and two children aged 12 and 8. In this role, she worked alongside another helper to manage household chores and assist with child-minding. She is confident in handling children of school age and understands the importance of maintaining a clean, safe, and nurturing home environment.

In addition to her domestic work, Flordelyn also worked as a canteen crew member from 2021 to 2023 and is currently employed as a production worker since 2024. These roles have strengthened her discipline, teamwork, and ability to follow instructions in a structured work environment.

Bernadeth completed her secondary education at Potrero National High School in 2006.

SINGAPORE (Mar 2020 - Jan 2022)Her first overseas employment, she worked for a Singaporean family in a five-room HDB flat. The household consisted of a couple, their three school-aged children (15, 12, and 9), and an elderly couple aged 92 and 86. The male elder had suffered a mild stroke and required daily assistance, which Bernadeth provided with patience and care.

SINGAPORE (January 2022 - January 2024), she joined a Hongkonger–Swedish family living in a spacious five-bedroom landed house. This family included a couple, two teenage children (15 and 12), and a French bulldog. As an all-around helper, Bernadeth was responsible for maintaining the household, doing the laundry and ironing, marketing, cooking, and ensuring the needs of both the children and the dog were met. Her adaptability, discipline, and strong sense of responsibility were clearly demonstrated in this multicultural environment. The household consisted of a couple and three children aged 12, 10, and 5. Bernadeth took care of the house and focused special attention on the eldest child, who has special needs. She assisted with the child’s daily routine, while also preparing meals, handling laundry, and keeping the home in order. She is well-versed in basic childcare duties such as preparing meals, feeding, bathing, dressing, and engaging children in learning or playtime. In addition to childcare, she is open and willing to care for the elderly and those who require extra attention.

Saudi Arabia (Aug 2017 – July 2019) where she worked for an Arab family in a large four-story, eight-bedroom home. The household included a couple and their three children, aged 9, 7, and 3. It was here that she learned to balance multiple tasks efficiently while adjusting to the cultural expectations of a foreign household.

Singapore (October 2019 – Present), Jenaly moved to Singapore, where she has continued her work until the present. Her employer hired another helper an Indonesian. Her role includes managing the cleanliness of the home, doing laundry and ironing, cooking daily meals, and assisting with elderly care. Her time in Singapore has not only strengthened her domestic skills but also deepened her cultural understanding and adaptability. She is also capable and willing to look after elderly individuals and persons with special needs. In addition to her caregiving skills, she is experienced in cooking a variety of dishes—Filipino, basic Chinese, and some Arab cuisine—and can easily follow recipes.

Her willingness to do additional tasks like gardening, pet care, and car washing reflects her flexible and hardworking nature. PHILIPPINES (September 2013 - Jan 2021), when she was employed by a Filipino family living in a five-bedroom bungalow. The household included six adults and a 75-year-old diabetic female who needed daily assistance. Her duties included general cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, car washing, providing full elderly care (including changing diapers and assisting with hygiene), and caring for five dogs. She remained with this family for over seven years, showing loyalty and dedication.

PHILIPPINES (February 2022 to August 2023), Angelica explored a non-domestic role as a warehouse picker, where she learned the importance of speed, accuracy, and teamwork in a structured work environment.

PHILIPPINES ( 2023 - 2025), she returned to domestic work, this time with a Filipino family in a similar five-bedroom home with three adults and five dogs. Her tasks included maintaining the household, doing the laundry and ironing, and cooking a variety of Filipino dishes—a skill she enjoys and is very confident in. Angelica is also eager and willing to learn other cuisines to suit her future employer’s preferences. Her additional skills include gardening, car washing, and pet care, making her a well-rounded and dependable household worker.

Angelica is also set to enhance her qualifications by undergoing the Domestic Work NC II training, which includes a TESDA-accredited in-house private training in Manila, focusing on core competencies like cleaning, laundry, and ironing.

She completed her secondary education at Palayan National High School in 2005 and later pursued a course in Computer Programming, reaching her first year before needing to shift focus. She then completed a Caregiving course, driven by her natural inclination to care for others—skills that would later prove essential both in her personal and professional life.

Philippines (2009 to 2011) as an all-around helper for a Filipino family living in 2 bedroom condo. There, she took care of a 70-year-old woman with hypertension and diabetes, managing household chores while also assisting the elder with her daily activities, grooming, and medications. This experience laid the foundation for her deep understanding of elderly care.

In 2011, she made the difficult but necessary decision to work overseas to provide a better life for her young son. Working in a large 8-bedroom mansion alongside 4 other Filipino domestic workers. Her responsibilities were diverse—cleaning, laundry, cooking, and even car washing—all of which she performed with care and attention to detail.

Qatar (Apr 2023 - Apr 2025), this time employed as a hospital cleaner, where she also assisted nurses with basic patient needs.

Through all of this, Salvacion never wavered in her commitment to her family. Despite the demands of her responsibilities, she remains hopeful and determined, currently awaiting an opportunity to work in Singapore.

Salvacion is not only experienced in household management, childcare, and elderly care—she is also eager to learn and grow. She enjoys cooking, particularly Filipino dishes and desserts, and is always open to learning new cuisines and customs.

The youngest among four siblings, Florita’s early life was shaped by both love and loss. Despite this, she has continued to move forward, driven by the desire to give her children a better life.

Education has always been important to Florita. She completed her secondary education at New Ormoc City National High School in 2001 and went on to pursue a degree in Computer Science at St. Paul College, graduated in 2005. While she started her career in a non-domestic role—as an online advertiser from 2008 to 2012—her path later led her into domestic work, where she found her true calling in caregiving and household management.

Florita’s experience as a domestic worker spans over a decade, mainly in the Philippines and briefly in Hong Kong.

PHILIPPINES (2013 to 2015), she was employed by a Chinese family with two young children, aged 5 and 3, living in a condominium. There, she handled all-around household duties and assisted the children with their daily routines.

PHILIPPINES (2016 to 2018), she cared for a newborn baby for another Chinese family. Her focus was on the infant’s needs—feeding, bathing, and nurturing—while performing house chores during the baby’s naps. It was during this period that her natural ability to care for young children truly shined.

PHILIPPINES (Jan 2019 to Jan 2023), she began working for a Filipino family with two children and a pet cat, managing household chores and caring for the kids. Her experience grew not just in child care but also in managing homes with multiple responsibilities.

HONG KONG (July 2025 – Aug 2025), she accepted a job with a Chinese family, caring for children aged 7 and 5. Though the contract lasted a short time, it added valuable international experience to her journey.

Florita is currently at home, spending quality time with her children while preparing for her next opportunity abroad—hopeful that her application to work in Singapore will soon be selected. She is also open to caring for the elderly, should she be given the chance. In the kitchen, she is skilled in Filipino and Chinese cuisine and is always eager to learn new dishes and techniques.

Despite her young age, Ana Mae carries with her a strong sense of responsibility and maturity, rooted in her desire to provide a better future for her own family.

She is the second of three daughters in a hardworking Filipino family.

Ana Mae completed her secondary education at Rufino G. Palabrica Sr. National High School in 2018. Determined to continue her education, she pursued a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management and studied up to her second year. However, she had to put her studies on hold due to financial challenges within the family. Despite this setback, she never lost hope and remained focused on supporting her loved ones. These experiences developed her interpersonal skills, sense of discipline, and ability to adapt in a work environment.

PHILIPPINES (October 2022 - July 2025), Ana Mae is a full-time domestic helper for a Filipino family in the Philippines. She was employed in a 3-bedroom bungalow home with a couple and their three children, aged 17, 6, and 9. The 9-year-old child stayed with her aunt on weekdays and only returned home on weekends, so Ana Mae focused primarily on household duties and caring for the 6-year-old child. She managed cleaning, laundry, cooking, and childcare as an all-around helper, all on her own.

Through this role, Ana Mae grew confident in her ability to care for children of various ages. She can easily follow recipes, both written and verbal, and is willing to undergo training to improve her cooking or caregiving skills further.

3. Saudi Arabia (February 2020 – June 2022)

Anna Mae worked for an Arab family in Saudi Arabia for over two years. She served as an all-around domestic helper. Her duties included: Full-scale housekeeping: sweeping, mopping, washing clothes, ironing, and organizing ; Childcare for the younger children (ages 10 and 8), including bathing, feeding, dressing, and school preparation ; Assisting her female employer in cooking and meal preparation, where she learned to help with various Arab dishes; Managing household supplies and assisting in occasional errands ;

This overseas role tested and strengthened Anna’s adaptability, endurance, and dedication, as she worked long hours in a foreign environment while meeting her employer’s expectations. She gained valuable exposure to Middle Eastern customs, food, and household systems.

Anna Mae is currently in the Philippines, staying at home in Ajuy, Iloilo while caring for her two children. She is actively seeking employment as a domestic helper in Singapore, hoping to find a stable job where she can.

Laarni's first formal domestic work experience began in the Philippines (2018–2020). She was employed by a local Filipino family living in a two-bedroom apartment. The family had two small children, aged five and three. As an all-around helper, Laarni managed the household chores such as cleaning, cooking, washing clothes, and ironing. She also played a significant role in childcare—preparing meals for the children, bathing and dressing them, and keeping them engaged in play and simple educational activities. Her duties remained similar—maintaining cleanliness, managing laundry, and assisting in the care of the children. Despite the cultural differences and the new environment, Laarni adjusted quickly and carried out her responsibilities with dedication. Although her contract ended earlier than expected,she left with valuable overseas experience and a deeper understanding of working in a foreign household.

Through both her local and overseas employment, Laarni has proven to be a reliable, capable, and nurturing domestic worker. She is especially confident in caring for young children and performing all-around household tasks.
