She is the eldest of two siblings. These life experiences have shaped her independence, resilience, and strong sense of responsibility toward her family.

She completed her secondary education at Tubigon West National High School in 2011. She later pursued higher education, initially taking up Computer Science before shifting to Bachelor of Secondary Education. She studied up to the second year but was unable to complete the course due to financial constraints. Despite this, she continued to work and support her family while gaining practical life and work skills.

Saudi Arabia (February 2022 – March 2024) she was employed by an Arab family living in an eight-bedroom, three-storey house. The household included an elderly couple aged 70 (male) and 65 (female), both mobile, and a 43-year-old male with kidney disease. Two helpers were employed in the household. Vanessa’s main responsibilities included: Cooking daily meals for the family, providing care and assistance to the adult male with kidney disease, Assisting and supporting the use of a Peritoneal Dialysis (PD) cycler machine, and helping the other helper with general household chores when needed. She is skilled in cooking Filipino dishes and is eager to learn new cuisines. She can follow recipes easily and is willing to take on various household tasks such as childcare, elderly care, pet care, cleaning, and gardening. She is committed to continuous learning and is prepared to serve her future employer with dedication, care, and professionalism. Upon selection, she will undergo a one-week In-House Private Training in Manila accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA seminar prior to the processing of her Overseas Employment Certificate for deployment.

As the eldest among three siblings, Lea learned responsibility early in life.

Lea later pursued domestic work and built solid experience both locally and overseas. Her main responsibility was caring for the 10-year-old child who required special attention, while also managing daily household chores. Her duties included household work and assisting with the children’s daily needs.

Since December 2023 to the present, Lea has been employed by another Filipino family in the Philippines, living in a two-bedroom bungalow with a couple and a 7-year-old child. As an all-around housemaid, she handles household chores, cooking, and various family errands. She is also open to caring for the elderly and is willing to undergo training in providing direct nursing care and supervising their daily needs.

Lea can cook a variety of Filipino dishes, including adobo, sinigang, chop suey, and paksiw, and she is eager to learn more, especially foreign cuisines. She is known for her positive attitude, willingness to learn, and dedication to her work.

Upon selection, Lea is prepared to undergo in-house private training in Manila (TESDA-accredited), followed by the OWWA seminar and completion of POEA employment documentation in preparation for deployment.
