Her childcare duties included supervising the children, accompanying them to and from school, taking them to playdates, and preparing lunch boxes and snacks such as fried chicken, fried rice, juice, biscuits, sandwiches, and bread. She also maintained a small garden with ampalaya, herbs, and chili plants. Her cooking included adobo, grilled seafood and chicken, pancit beehon, beef stew, sinigang, spring roll, fried rice, broccoli with mushrooms, and afritada along with meal planning for the household. Her employment ended as the family no longer required her services and a written recommendation can be provided.

Nov 2020 to Apr 2021. For a Chinese family residing in a condominium with two adults and an infant aged 4 months. She managed all household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and grocery shopping. Her primary responsibility was infant care, attending to the baby’s daily needs. She also prepared meals such as steamed fish, fried noodles, chicken stew, and vegetable popia. She served the family for four months. However, due to frequent misunderstandings and unreasonable complaints from the employer’s wife, she requested a transfer.

Oct 2020 to Nov 2020. For a British-Malay family residing in a 7-bedroom, three-storey landed property with three adults. As the only helper, Josephine managed housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and grocery shopping. In addition, she was responsible for extensive pet care, tending to three dogs, five cats, forty birds, and three frogs, as well as maintaining the garden and overseeing the swimming area. Cooking was not required in this role. Due to exhaustion from the heavy workload and insufficient rest and meals, she requested a transfer.

Sep 2015 to Oct 2020. For a Filipino family residing in a 4-bedroom HDB flat with the couple and their one 5-year-old son with special needs. She was responsible for overall household management, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and grocery shopping. In addition to her household duties, she provided childcare, supporting the child’s daily activities and accompanying him to therapy sessions. She also managed meal planning and prepared dishes such as beef steak, sinigang, paksiw, chicken stew, pork soup, chicken porridge, adobo, pancit beejon, fried rice and kaldereta. The employment ended upon the family’s relocation to Australia.

Feb 2014 to Dec 2014. For a Filipino family residing in a 4-bedroom HDB flat with two adults and three children aged 8, 5, and 4. She was responsible for maintaining household cleanliness, including laundry, ironing, grocery shopping and menu planning. She provided childcare for all three children, including school drop-off and pick-up, and shared a bed with the children at night despite having a separate room provided. Her cooking included steamed fish, macaroni soup, fried fish, chicken stew, , fried rice, adobo, sinigang, pakbet, spring roll, and chicken steak. The employment ended as the family relocated to the Philippines.

Mar 2013 to Jan 2014. For a Chinese family residing in a 4-bedroom HDB flat with two adults and two children aged 5 and 4. She was responsible for daily household management, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and grocery shopping. Her childcare duties involved attending to both children, bathing, feeding, supervising playtime, and sleeping with them at night. She also prepared a variety of meals such as fried vegetables, tofu dishes, bak kut teh, dumplings, steamed fish, porridge, and pork soup with lotus root. Additionally, she provided pet care for a Labrador dog. The employment ended due to a mismatch with the employer, and she requested a transfer.

Mar 2013 to Mar 2013. For a Chinese couple residing in a 3 bedroom HDB flat. Her duties centered on household management, including cleaning, laundry, ironing, and grocery shopping. She also prepared meals such as stir-fried vegetables, pork stew, beef steak, chicken soup, and steamed fish. She was transferred from the agency to the employer.

She can prepare other dishes following a menu recipe and handles housekeeping and childcare as well.
