Julie Ann completed her secondary education in 2011 through the Alternative Learning System (ALS) under the Department of Education. She then pursued a degree in Education and was able to complete her first year before financial challenges forced her to pause her studies.

In addition to her personal experience, Julie Ann has held several non-domestic jobs: Bagger – January 2015 to June 2015 ; Massage Therapist – November 2015 to November 2017; Massage Therapist – January 2020 to May 2022 ; Massage Therapist – September 2022 to June 2023

These roles taught her discipline, proper hygiene, physical stamina, and strong interpersonal skills—all of which are essential qualities in domestic work. Her work as a massage therapist also gave her a gentle and caring touch, which she believes will be useful not only in childcare but also in caring for elderly individuals.

Julie Ann is scheduled to undergo TESDA-accredited Domestic Work NC II training, including one week of in-house private training in Manila. This course will cover: Household cleaning techniques; Washing and ironing and Proper hygiene and safety protocols

While she is especially confident in her ability to care for children, Julie Ann is also eager and willing to care for elderly clients if given the opportunity.

Twinkle completed her secondary education at Mabolo National High School in 2016. She then pursued a degree in Education and studied up to her fourth year; however, she was unable to complete her course due to financial constraints within the family.

Over the years, Twinkle has gained valuable work experience in different fields. Her responsibilities included general housekeeping, laundry and ironing, cooking, and car washing. She also took charge of infant care, ensuring the baby’s well-being by preparing meals, feeding, bathing, changing clothes, and engaging in basic educational and play activities.

Twinkle is confident in taking care of infants and young children and is willing to look after the elderly or individuals with special needs if given the opportunity. She can cook Filipino dishes and is eager to learn and adapt to other types of cuisine as required by her future employer. She takes pride in maintaining cleanliness and order in the household and performs all her duties with dedication and care.

Currently, Twinkle is in Singapore seeking employment as a domestic worker. Upon selection, she will undergo a two-week In-House Private Training in Manila, accredited by TESDA, followed by an OWWA seminar and the processing of POEA employment documents for deployment.

Despite not finishing her degree, Czarina remained determined to contribute to her family’s needs. Over the years, she gained valuable work experience in various fields. She worked for a household living in a 3-bedroom bungalow, which included a couple, an elderly 80-year-old woman, and a 9-year-old child. As an all-around helper, Czarina managed various household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, ironing, cooking, and assisting the elderly woman in her daily activities. Working as a stay-out helper required her to be highly responsible and independent. This experience gave her valuable hands-on exposure to elderly care—something she grew to love and hopes to continue in her future employment. This role helped enhance her communication skills, patience, and ability to work independently in a virtual setting. She is confident in feeding, bathing, dressing, and attending to children's daily routines, including engaging them in educational activities.

In the kitchen, Czarina is skilled in preparing Filipino dishes and is open to learning foreign cuisines. Her flexibility, strong work ethic, and willingness to grow make her a reliable and adaptable worker in any household.

Today, Czarina is spending time with her children while preparing for a new opportunity abroad. She is currently applying for a position in Singapore, where she hopes to continue her work as a caregiver or domestic helper. Once selected, she is ready to undergo a two-week in-house private training accredited by TESDA, followed by the OWWA seminar and POEA processing for deployment.
