Catherine worked in a flat with 4-bedrooms, 4-toilets, a living room and kitchen for an Arabian family of 7 with an infant, and she looked after the infant's welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, do weekly car washing.

Catherine worked in a HDB flat with 3-bedrooms, 2-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a Chinese family of 3 with a 3-year-old, and she looked after the child's welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, marketing, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding, wash and clean the family car. She did not complete the contract as she was uncomfortable working in the family.

Returned home, spent time with her family and seek new job opportunities. 

(Jan 2025 – present) as a helper in the Philippines

Catherine worked in a flat with 3-toilets, a living room and kitchen for a family of 3 with a 1- and 9-year-old, and she assisted to look after their welfare. Daily she does general house cleaning chores, prepare and cook for the family, laundry, ironing and folding. 

Cooking

She cooks Filipino dishes, keen to learn to cook Chinese and various other dishes. In her previous experience, she learned to prepare and cook basic Arabic and Chinese dishes, such as kabsa, biryani, steam fish, stir-fried vegetables etc. 

Childcare

She is keen to look after children/ infants, and she looks after her own since birth. In her previous experience, she prepares infant milk, meals for the older one and fed them, wash and clean up after them, wash and sterilize feeding bottles, bathe and change them with fresh clothing and diaper for the infant, watch over their playing and safety, sing lullaby and soothe them to sleep, accompany them outdoor for play activities and during night hour, dress the older one and send him to-and-fro from school, attend to and assist with their needs.

Pet Care

She is keen to look after pets. While in Saudi Arabia, she fed the cat and keep clean the pet area.

Hand phone

She will follow the employer’s instruction regarding hand phone usage. However, she will contact her family using her own hand phone after work hour. Any other usage arrangement is between employer and helper; this will be stated in the Job Offer.

Off-day

The helper is entitled to 1 compulsory off-day per month and the other working off-days shall be compensated accordingly.

2 years contract

She is aware of the 2-year contract.
