The elderly couple, both aged 73, included the father, who was still independent, and the mother, who had dementia, had suffered a mild stroke. Rhodelyne provided full-time caregiving  duties for the mother, assisting with mobility, feeding, bathing, diaper changing, administering medications on schedule, and accompanying her to medical appointments, and manage her meltdowns even during late nights that sometimes would lasts until the early hours of the morning.

She also managed general housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and ironing, and prepared meals for the family, including dishes like fried rice, steamed vegetables, fish, noodles, and plain rice. She also prepared meals for the family's two unmarried sons and attend to their needs. While employed, Rhodelyne completed an Advanced Elderly Care course conducted by Home Academy in Singapore. After fulfilling her contract and leaving the family, she returned to the Philippines to further her qualifications by completing a Caregiving Course with National Certification II (NC II) and undergoing Basic Nursing Skills Training.

In addition, she handled general household duties, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Melodee also prepared daily meals for the family, often cooking 5 to 6 dishes per day. Some of the dishes she prepared included steamed fish, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, ABC soup, lotus root and chicken soup, braised pork leg, chicken ginger rice, and pork stew dumplings. Her employer usually gives her the desired dishes, which Melodee would then cook accordingly. Also, she provided care for the family’s pet dog. She successfully completed her contract with this employer, whom she had also worked for previously.

July 2016 to July 2018 - Hong Kong. For a Chinese family residing in a condo unit. The household included 2 adults and 2 children, aged 11 and 15. Her duties involved childcare, such as assisting with school routines and engaging the children in activities. She was responsible for housekeeping tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Melodee also cooked meals for the family, preparing dishes like steamed fish, soup, fried rice, and sweet and sour pork. She provided pet care for the family’s dog and occasionally washed the car. She completed her contract.

Apr 2013 to Apr 2015 - Hong Kong Position. For a Chinese family residing in a three-bedroom condominium unit, where she was provided with her own private room. The household consisted of two adults and one child—a 12-year-old girl. Her responsibilities included childcare, such as assisting with daily routines and preparing the child for school. She managed housekeeping duties, including cleaning, laundry, and ironing. Melodee also prepared 3 to 4 dishes per meal, such as steamed fish, sweet and sour pork, fried rice, various vegetables, and soups. She also prepared packed lunches for the child to bring to school, such as fried rice, carbonara, sandwiches, and depending on daily requests. In addition, she provided pet care for the family’s two dogs. Her duties included walking, feeding, bathing, tooth brushing, grooming, shampooing, and trimming their hair. Melodee successfully completed her contract. 

Melodee cooks and regularly prepares variety of Filipino dishes, including sinigang, adobo, chicken curry, tinola, kilawin, menudo, chopsuey, afritada, beef broccoli, and Bicol express. She is also capable of recreating dishes by following recipe books.
