Nur's working experience as a domestic helper in Singapore:

3. 17 Jan 2017 to 29 Oct 2018 - worked almost finished contract for a Chinese family of two working parents with 2 kids aged 1 and 3, and a healthy grandma in her 70s, in a 2-storey-terrace. Her duties were general housework, small gardening, marketing, cooking simple Chinese and Asian meals when grandma is not around, mostly grandma would be the one that cook and she assist grandma, and taking care of the two kids including sending and fetching them from/to school, shower the kids, feeding and prepare the milk, changing diaper etc. Reason for leaving - Finishing contract and she went home.

2. 08 Jul 2013 to 29 Dec 2014 - worked 1 year and half for a Chinese family of two parents with 2 kids 4 and 13, and a healthy grandma in her 70s,in a 5-room-HDB. Her duties were general housework, assist grandma in cooking, marketing and taking care of the two kids including sending and fetching them from/to school. Reason for leaving - her grandpa passed away, employer allowed her to terminate the contract earlier.

1. 01 Aug 2011 to 10 Sept 2012 - worked 1 year for a Chinese family of two working parents with 3 kids aged 11,13, and 17 in a 2-storey terrace. Her duties were general housework, assist in cooking, marketing, washing 1 car weekly, and taking care of the kids. Reason for leaving - Too much work loads and lacked of rest. Upon she joined the family she had to take care of two houses. The next house is the grandparent's house (2-storey terrace), she had to clean it daily as well.

She can cook many Indonesian and simple Chinese meals as such: fried rice, fried kway teow, fried chicken/fish, Ayam penyet, ikan penyet, ikan bakar, ayam bakar, opor, chicken/fish soup, soto, bakso, mie ayam, chicken bbq, beef bbq, chicken/fish curry, stir fry vegetables, chap chai, pisang goreng choco, bala-bala, and many more. She can fol ow recipe books and videos. She has a small food stalls in Indonesia right now, sel ing pisang kembung, pisang lumer, cireng isi and cireng kuah, chicken bbq, ketan coklat andmodified, etc.

Her expected salary is $650 with 2 Sundays and Muslim PHs. She is currently in Indonesia and ready to come to Singapore anytime (at least one month to prepare) as she need to renew her passport.She is available for video-interview anytime by prior arrangement.

Thiya's working experiences as a domestic helper in Singapore:

4. 14 Apr 2015 to 03 Jul 2023 - Worked 8 years+ (FINISHED 4 x 2-year- contract) for the same employer #3 below. The boy was already about8 year old (upon rejoining). Grandma and grandpa from Beijing used to visit them in Singapore and stayed for about 2 months each visit. They were still healthy and mobile, but could not speaks English. Thiya learned to communicate with them with basic simple Mandarin. This time around, she was the only helper in the house. Her duties were general housework, marketing, washing a car occasionally, taking care of the boy including sending/fetching the boy from/to school (she went with the driver), and cooking simple Chinese meals such as : black pepper prawn, chicken soup,pork soup, chicken curry, fish curry, steamed fish, steamed chicken, stir fry vegetables, pao, dumpling, wanton soup noodle, chicken/pork/prawn porridge, spaghetti, pasta, chicken BBQ, taiwanese beef soup noodle, tomato beef soup, seaweed soup, fried rice and fried chicken, tempura prawn and many more. She can follow recipe books/videos. She used to baked cup cakes, banana cake, sponge cake, brownies, follow recipe book.Reason for leaving - Finished 4 x 2-year-contract, the boy went to study abroad and she went home for a long break.

3. 31 Oct 2009 to 08 Feb 2013 - Worked 3 years and 4 months (FINISHED CONTRACT) for a Chinese local (Sir) / expat Chinese (Madam from Beijing) of two parents with a 15 month-old baby (upon joining) in a 4-bedroom mensionate-condo. Her duties were general housework, marketing,washing a car occasionally, taking care of the boy including changing diapers, feeding, showering, child-minding, sending/fetching the boy from/to school (she went with the driver), and cooking simple Chinese meals such as : black pepper prawn, chicken soup, pork soup, chicken curry, fish curry, steamed fish, steamed chicken, stir fry vegetables, pao, dumpling, wanton soup noodle, chicken/pork/prawn porridge, spaghetti, pasta,chicken BBQ, taiwanese beef soup noodle, tomato beef soup, seaweed soup, fried rice and fried chicken, tempura prawn and many more. She can follow recipe books/videos. She used to baked cup cakes, banana cake, sponge cake, brownies, follow recipe book. There was another Indonesian helper in the house to shared her duties with. Reason for leaving - She went home to get married.


2. 29 May 2009 to 15 Oct 2009 - Worked 5 months for an Indian Expat family of two working parents with 2 kids aged 4 and 6yo (upon joining) ina 3-bedroom-condo. Her duties were general housework, washing a car once a week, and taking care of the kids including sending/fetching kids from/to school, feeding, child-minding. Reason for leaving - Employer was vegetarian, she could not follow their dietary meals.

1. 20 May 2005 to 16 May 2009 - Worked 4 years (FINISHED 2 X 2-YEAR-CONTRACT) for a Malay family of two working parents with 4 children aged 8, 16, 21 and 25yo (upon joining) in a 4-room-HDB. Her duties were general housework, washing 1 car once a week, taking care of the youngest kid including sending and fetching him from/to school, prepare simple dinner for the kids, and assist Madam in cooking simple Malaymeas, such as ; ayam masak merah, nasi ayam/chicken rice, nasi lemak, lodeh, ikan asam pedas, ayam lemak chilli padi, sambal udang and many more. She can follow recipe books/videos. Reason for leaving - Finished 2 x 2-year-contract and helper wish to went home for a short break.
