Irene completed her secondary education at Iriron National High School. With a strong sense of responsibility and determination to support her family, she decided to work abroad as a domestic helper. The household consisted of a couple and their two children, aged six years and two months. Irene worked as the second maid, mainly responsible for childcare and general housekeeping duties. Her tasks included taking care of the children, cleaning, doing laundry, and other household chores.

After successfully completing her contract, Irene was re-hired by the same employer in February 2025 until Present, continuing her role with the same responsibilities. Maricel Lacambra Atara is a 42-year-old Filipina whose life story reflects hard work, responsibility, and dedication to both her family and profession.

Maricel completed her secondary education at Gosi National High School and later pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science at Cagayan State University, graduating in 2004. She accomplised a NURSING AIDE & CPR + AED CERTIFICATE in Singapore in June 2024 . Currently doing voulenteers jobs in one of well knowns carehomes in Singapore taking care of elderly.

Seeking better opportunities for her family, Maricel decided to work abroad as a domestic helper in Singapore.

Singapore (Feb. 2019 – June 2021): Served a Chinese family in a 4-bedroom HDB with 3 adults and 2 elderly (ages 91 and 90). She is the second maid and primarily focus with elderly wheelchair bound with light dementia & health condition. She was the one who attended with all their needs like, bathing, assisting with the movements like walking, giving medecine, changing diapers, massaging and also helping out with household chores.

Singapore (June 2021 – June 2023): Worked for another Chinese family in a 4-bedroom condominium with a couple and an 8-year-old child. She managed housework, cooking, and pet care for two dogs while assisting the child with daily needs.

Singapore (July 2023 – Feb. 2024): Served a British family in a 4-bedroom condominium with a couple and two children (ages 6 and 5). Her duties included childcare, cooking, cleaning, and taking care of a dog.

Singapore (Feb. 2024 – Present): Currently employed by a Japanese family in a 6-bedroom landed property with a couple and an 18-year-old child. She works as an all-around housemaid, handling all household chores, cooking, and caring for two cats and a dog.

Throughout her career, Maricel has demonstrated her ability to care for children of various ages, attending to their daily needs such as feeding, bathing, preparing school materials, and engaging them in play. She is skilled in cooking Chinese and Filipino dishes, and can easily follow recipes. Additionally, she is willing to take on extra tasks like car washing and pet care when needed.
